Residential Support Worker required to work with Children with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
40 Hours, full time including Early and late shifts as part of a rota.
Salary £17,500/£8.41ph, depending on experience and qualifications.
You will have a level 3 in children and young people or equivalent and MUST have worked with services that support Children and young people with challenging behaviour, emotional and learning difficulties.
The purpose of the role:
To provide high quality care to children and young people by adopting a child centred approach and support young people in achieving positive outcomes.
You will need to be willing to engage with young people in awide range of activities and support them in making the right decisions and guidance towards adulthood.
The role will involve working with challenging behaviour and you will need to have experience in resolving a situation where this may occur.
To lead by example and maintain a good professional practice in accordance with Ofsted policies and procedures, as set out by the home.
Driving license preferred but not essential, however if you do not drive you will still be expected to go out and about in the community toattend activities.
Minimum level 3 in children and young people or equivalent.
A full enhanced DBS will also be required should the application be taken further.
